Soccer Kicks Off!

The Bucs began training for their first NJCAA season in nearly 30 years at the fabulous Eurosport Soccer complex last night. The Bucs return just 4 players from last years squad, so most of the startng sports are up for grabs (sports cliche #1). Lower Township's Mike Hickman and Pleasantville's Maudiel Alvarado were very impressive. We expect a lot of flair from those two this year. Edgar Castillo also was excelente. Joe Foell looks destined for a defensive spot based pon his tough tackling. Dan Harrah can play anywhere, although the opinion of the coaches and his teammates is that he would make an excellent stopper or defensive midfielder. Rob Vizthum looked strong, staking his claim for the right midfield spot.

We will be practicing Tuesday from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Eurosports Center in Egg Harbor City.
